Last week our students took part in the School Recitation Contest in English and in German languages.
Each of the contestants presented a preprepared piece of poetry in a foreign language. In order to choose the winners the jury applied a few criteria: a word-perfect rectation, appropriate and fluent pronunciation, intonation and artistic ways of conveying the meaning of the poem. There were three different age categories in the Contest: Year 4-5, Year 6-7 and Year 8 and Secondary School.
