Every year since 2013 our middle school students have participated in the nationwide educational project Young Entrepreneurs organized by the Center for Citizenship Education. There were four our school teams which took part in this year’s edition of the project. One of them – Business Insiders Team with Julia Dudek, Róża Konarska, Aleksander Kwiatkowski and Wiktor Wójcik, were among the 12 top teams in Poland.
On June 13, 2019, they will take part in the Final Ceremony of the Young Entrepreneurs Programme where they will have a chance to present their project. We would like to congratulate our students and their tutor – Mr. Sławomir Barszcz.
The Programme Young Entrepreneurs can be defined as, based on the possibility of using economic issues in practical activities, economic education in practice. Participants gain experience in saving, investing their own financial resources, they learn how to run the budget and their own enterprises in virtual reality. They find out how to establish cooperation, promote their own ideas and analyze the risk. Teamwork and management skills count. The project is implemented in 9 stages and expects from students hard and diligent work. The jury takes into account meeting deadlines and reliability of the course work, objectivity and substantive correctness of reports, reflexive, unconventional and innovative approach to the tasks, attractiveness, creativity and innovation of described activities, constructive statements on the platform and on the forum, general performance and involvement of the team in the programme.
