On the Thursday of 12th December a ceremony considering finalization of the fourth edition of the contest ‘We care about our city – we fight against the smog’ took place in the John Paul II Hospital in Krakow. The New School Foundation and our School organized the contest for children and youths from Lesser Poland Voivodship.

Contest’s participants were to design a ‘machine of the future which fights with the smog’, according to their own creative ideas. Technique, form and thought – all lied in hands of the young artists.

The competition was held under the patronage of mayor of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski, voivod of Lesser Poland Voivodship Piotr Ćwik, the local Fund for Water Management and Enviormental Protection, John Paul II Hospital, Dworek Białoprądnicki Cultural Centre, Council of Krakow’s 4th District Prądnik Biały, and the Family Portal Baba Go.

We share our thanks and congratulations to all of the participants and awarded and invite to participate in the jubilee 5th edition of the contest in the following year.
