On 30th August, the Nobel Laureates Year 1 high school students started their academic year by taking part in a welcome retreat. To make a good beginning they had a walk in Bolechowice Valley and listened to a sightseeing lecture delivered by D. Sc Renata Rettinger. They finally reached Zelków where welcome retreat was held. The young people had a chance to know each other and to get used to a new situation. They also had opportunity to meet their form teachers and the teaching staff who joined the meeting in a large number.
These participants who expected sports activities in the open air were not left disappointed. Moreover, there were also workshops devoted to a creative problem solving and team building. In a beautiful setting everyone enjoyed commonly shared meal.
When the young people were having conversation the teaching staff and parents, who joined the retreat in a large number, had a chance to know each other and exchange their first thoughts and impressions.
The students, teachers and parents assessed the meeting as successful and are looking forward to the next ones.
