On 24th April 2018 in “Port of Call – History” Educational Centre Institute of National Remembrance, the Award Ceremony of Małopolska Thematic Contest ‘On the Battlefield of Glory – Dames and Knights of Virtuti Militari and Cross of Valour in the fight for independence and boarders of the II Polish Republic”, was held. This contest was aimed at students of outgoing secondary schools and grades of outgoing secondary schools of different types in the academic year 2018/19.
During the Award Ceremony our secondary school student – Mikołaj Cyganek, who won the second place, received the title of laureate. The Contest was organized by the Affiliate Bureau of the Institute of National Remembrance IPN in Krakow in cooperation with the Marshal of Małopolska Province and the Fight for Independence Records Centre.
We would like to congratulate Mikołaj Cyganek and his tutor Mr Sławomir Barszcz on their achievement.
