On Thursday, 13th September Year 8 primary school students and Year 3 middle school students, participated in an educational trip to the Museum in Oświęcim. It was being carried out within a framework of implemented in our school project “We and Independence”.
Accompanied by a tour guide the students went through two parts of the former concentrtion camp: Auschwitz and Birkenau. They also visited a museum where there are tens of thousands of objects of symbolic character, unique symbolism and purport .
The students also took part in the workshops ‘Fight and martyrdom of the Polish nation in the years 1939 – 1945” and “The Fate of Persons Deported to KL Auschwitz”.
