Within a framewoek of the project “The Nobels’ Night” , organised by  “A New School” Foundation, fifty–eight  students of our school for the very first time, had a chance to see what the school looks like at night. On Friday, October 26th, Year 4-8 primary school and middle school students turned out at school carrying sleeping bags, pillows and  plushies. Divided into groups they discovered the secrets of coding and programming. They solved ciphers and riddles and tried to decode “flavours”. The participants had also enough time to do sports activities in the gym. However, the most interesting experience turned out to be spending night in the classrooms. Short sleep was followed by commonly shared, healthy breakfast prepared by caretakers.

Everyone was having a good time and is looking forward to having the next Nobels’ Night which will take place on November 30th.

We would like to thank the caretakers: Mr Sławomir Barszcz, Ms Agnieszka Korczak, Mrs Jadwiga Marek, Mr Mirosław Batko, Mr Daniel Górski and Mr Patryk Kundera. We also express our appreciation to the last year’s graduates who helped us to prepare the Nobels Night.

Gained from donations total income for ‘A New School Foundation” amounted to 4,400 PLN. Funds collected from the Code Night and the coming nights will be collected on the Foundation account and then will  be used for purposes set by the Board and Members of the Foundation.
