This academic year – the fourth and the last time, an event called the Nobel Laureates’ Night took place in our school. That night our students participated in classes related to detective work. They had a chance to participate in dactyloscopic workshops run by students from the “Criminal Circle” of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. They also took part in a game “On the trail of prejudices” with the aim to, based on traces and clues, find offenders. There was also time to let the imagination run free and create “Black stories”. In the morning, as usual, the participants enjoyed commonly shared delicious breakfast.
The last meeting should be followed by a recap. All in all, 240 participants took part in all the nights, and thanks to their parents’ commitment to the foundation’s tasks, we collected over 14,000 PLN.
We would like to thank our teachers for their voluntary work, engagement in preparations, conducting classes and looking after the students during all events. We own our sincere thanks to: Barbara Barszcz, Mirosław Batko, Małgorzata Bzowska, Magdalena Czajkowska, Daniel Górski, Grażyna Jędrysek-Raszka, Paweł Kindlik, Agnieszka Korczak, Joanna Kozłowska, Patryk Kundera, Jadwiga Marek, Monika Pęgiel-Dromundo, Joanna Putek, Jarosław Sobota, Karolina Stasiowska, Monika Tietze, Barbara Urbanik, Violetta Węglarz, Urszula Wierzgacz, and Patryk Wyskocki.
We would also like to thank our volunteers (including our graduates) who participated in preparations and conducting classes. We hope that next school year the project “Nobel Laureates’ Nights” will be continued and will receive equally great interest.
