On May 26th 2018, twenty – five of our school students took the Cambridge Qualifications exams – Cambridge English Movers (YLE) and Key English Test (KET FS) organised in cooperation with the British Council.
The Cambridge English Tests: Young Learners are designed to assess the English language skills of children aged between seven and twelve. YLE tests are available on three levels: Starters, Movers and Flyers.
Cambridge English Movers consists of three parts: Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking. The student can get a maximum of 5 shields from each part. In the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, Movers represents level A1 of qualification in language skills. There were seven the Year 4 students and two the Year 3 students who took part in Movers exam.
The KET FS exam is the first of a series of Cambridge adult examinations. The exam consists of three parts: Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking. In the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages KET represents A2, elementary level of qualification in language skills. The challenge of taking this exam took sixteen the Year 6 students.
