On Thursday April 12th the first grade primary school students were officially incorporated into the reader community. The ceremony of knighting was preceded by the performance entitled “Enchanted Krakow pigeons” given by the first-graders. Moreover, the one who expected songs and poems related to Krakow, could not feel disappointed. Little actors presented their dance skills in krakowiak, a traditional Polish dance. Colorful clothes, decorations and props made the audience feel the spirit and the atmosphere of Market Square in Krakow. In the end, young readers received diplomas and bookmarks.The event was attended by the Head Mrs Barbara Prokop, teachers and the Years 0 – 3 students, and their parents.View our photo gallery:
