On 28th September our school hosted two guests – Louis Klee and Aleksandra. The meeting was organised by “ A New School” Foundation within a framework of the project “Nobel Laureates Ask Questions”
Mr Louis Klee is a young Australian poet currently studying for a PhD at University of Cambridge. This month he is the guest of honour of the City of Kraków within a framework of a scholarschip residency programme for the poets of a UNESCO Cities of Literature. He told us about his work, passion for literature and his homeland.
Aleksandra Majak is a literary scholar, a graduate of our school, an alumnus of University of Cambridge and a postgraduate student of University of Oxford. With our students she shared her knowledge about the most prestigious universities, passion and everyday life in Oxbridge. They had a chance to get familiar with the requirements of the world’s top universities and to analyse letters of application of those high school students who want to apply to England.
We would like to thank our guests for a great event.
