On Thursday, 17th October 2019, at 12 p.m a ceremonial knighting of two Year 1 classes took place. The event was held in the St Hedwig theatre hall and was opened by the heroes of the day who danced the polonaise.
During their artistic performances, which followed the dance, Year 1 students described what they have eagerly learnt so far, pointed out the importance of safety on the road and why we should look after the environment. The most important moment was the ceremony of knightning. The students made a vow and were officially incorporated into the Polish Nobel Lauretes Independent Primary School no 2 in Krakow. Mrs Barbara Prokop touched each student’s shoulder with a symbolic pen. From their form teachers the students received first documect confirming their identity – school ID.
