On 15th November a meeting with a writer Ms Katarzyna Kozubska, as a special guest, was held in our school library. It was organized for Years 0 – 3 primary school students, as a part of the project ‘The Nobel Laureates Ask Questions’. Ms Kozubska, well-known for her book series ‘Sideboard Stories’, visited us with the aim to promote her latest, based on facts, book ‘Galopka Mouse and the Secret of the Salt Mine’. She also reminded our young readers about her previous books. Our guest enriched her speech with biographical stories related to the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The meeting was followed by a discussion on the importance of reading and writing in our lives.
We would like to thank our guest for visiting us. Everybody is welcome to borrow one of ‘Sideboard Stories’ which Ms Kozubska left as a gift and a reminder of her visit.
