On 25th October members of School Library Activists called Mole Krejzole (Crazy Bookworms), along with members of the Editorial Circle, participated in the 23rd Book Fair in Krakow. The next day, at ICE Congress Centre our students had a chance to meet Mrs Olga Tokarczuk, this year’s Nobel Prize Laureate in Literature.
On Friday they saw publishing stands, find out and bought new books and took part in Literary Accident and Emergency. The participants also had opportunity to take part in the action #taksięcieszę and along with others to create a book with congratulations to the Nobel Laureate – Olga Tokarczuk. In November the readers of our school library can expect a surprise. One who borrows a book will have the right to choose two bookmarks.
On Saturday our school took part in the first meeting with Olga Tokarczuk in Krakow. With no doubt it was our duty to be there – we are the students of the Polish Nobel Laureates School!
