From 27th February in the Krakow City Hall, at Plac Wszystkich Świętych, you can see an exhibition of artworks submitted to competition “We care for our city – we fight against smog” which was organized by our school. The vernissage holds works made by students from the Małopolska Province in the two previous editions of the competition. Among many works there are interesting and extremely ingenious designs of anti-smog masks in a flat and a three – dimensional form.
From the very beginning this exhibition cauptured the interest of both the younger and the elder ones. Visitors, including the City Hall staff, emphasized that it is very important for young people to know the threats caused by smog. It will make actions undertaken by various institutions, in order to reduce the emission of smog, more effective.
We would like to encourage everyone to visit the exhibition in the City Hall at 3 Pl. Wszystkich Świętych in Krakow, from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m – 3:30 p.m.
The contest “We care about our city – we fight against smog” – is conducted with support of the honourary patronage of the Voivod of Małopolska Province, the Marshal of Małopolska Province – Mr Jacek Krupa, the President of the City of Krakow, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, the John Paul II Specialist Hospital in Krakow and the Board of District IV Prądnik Biały.
