We are happy to announce that we have recently renewed our cooperation with St. Edmund’s School in Canterbury which resulted in the student exchange. The first event within the exchange was the visit of students from England, who arrived to Krakow on October 24 and stayed till October 29. During their stay, together with a group of our Polish students, they participated in a special programme which included not only many interesting and challenging activities such as a city game, theatre workshops, folk and Jewish dance workshops, culinary workshops but also excursions to the salt mine in Wieliczka and a picturesque rafting trip to the Pieniny Mountains. During the exchange we also had the pleasure of hosting both students and teachers from Canterbury at our school. Our guests also visited the Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory Museum and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum.
We would like to thank all teachers and students involved in the exchange. We would like to express special thanks to Mr. Mark Sell and Mr. Howard Sykes for conducting drama classes with the Polish students in our school. We are glad that we had the opportunity to take part in this event and we hope to continue our cooperation in the future.
